That is enough. From here on, there are two of us.
I am Natalie Madjidian, a licensed psychotherapist in Frankfurt am Main, working with adults in cognitive behavioural therapy. My main areas of work are ADHD in adults, anxiety and obsessive-compulsive disorders, and burnout and exhaustion.
Appointments from November 2026, enquiries welcome now
Much of what people bring into the first hour sounds unsayable to them. Intrusive thoughts nobody is supposed to hear. An exhaustion that no holiday shifts any more. A head that has been running too fast for thirty years.
I have heard it often enough. You do not have to spare me, and you do not have to phrase it neatly either. We start where you actually are.

Individually, as a couple or in a group
50 minutes, weekly. For all three areas of work.
For two, 90 minutes.
Anxiety group, 12 weeks. The first group begins as soon as six places are confirmed, expected in early 2027.
Join the waiting listWe look at what you think, feel and do in difficult situations, and at which of those keeps the problem alive. Then we deliberately change individual parts of it and check whether things get better. You end up with tools that still work after the therapy ends.

Three appointments: a 30-minute history-taking conversation, a structured 90-minute interview, and a feedback appointment with a written report. Plus questionnaires and your old school reports, which you send in beforehand.
From the first appointment to the finished report usually takes three to four weeks.

With anxiety and OCD, the most effective part of the therapy is the one most people dread the most: facing the situation without the usual safety behaviour.
It does not happen suddenly and not against your will. We build it up together, step by step, and you set the pace.

A closed anxiety group of six to nine people, twelve weeks long, 100 minutes per session. Closed means: nobody new joins, and the group knows each other by week two.
For many people the group is where they notice for the first time that they are not the only ones.

Video is possible and is billed exactly like an appointment at the practice: the same basis, the same invoice. I prefer to hold the first conversation at the practice; after that we decide together.
For people who have moved away from Frankfurt, or whose day leaves no room for the journey, this is often the difference between therapy and no therapy.

You write to me using the form; three lines are enough. I get back to you within two working days. The current wait for a first appointment is one to two weeks.
An appointment in which we work out what this is about and whether therapy with me is right for you. If it is not, I say so.
Five sessions in which we get to know each other and both check whether we can work together.
Weekly, 50 minutes. This is where the work together begins.

If you can show that you have not found a therapy place within a reasonable time, your Krankenkasse (statutory health insurer) can cover treatment with me (§ 13 (3) SGB V). It is paperwork, and it is not always approved.
